Ok, I watched the Kuroshitsuji OVA quite a Chile ago, not to mention Kuroshitsuji anime, but I decided to do it anyway.
Why?

BECAUSE AT SOME POINTS IT FRIGGIN SUCKS BALLS

I mean, seriously. But let’s start from the beginning. As you know, anime after six first episodes was almost pure filler (almost, because some scenes were put there but with different characters/ in different circumstances/ etc.). I am not even talking about the plotline, because it could be kinda cool in different series, but characters, God, characters!

Let’s start with Queen:
First of all : Queen Victoria In manga she is energetic character who cares about Ciel (She said that he should visit her more often and she looked kinda sad, not angry when she heard that Ciel did not save the kidnapped children ) and sometimes is as a comic relief when crying hysterically whenever prince Albert was mentioned. And it was good. And now anime, she indeed loved her husband. So much that until her death she was in mourning (is it right way to say it? Help, anyone?). BUT I STILL DO NOT BELIEVE THAT SHE WOULD IMPLANT HIS FRIGGIN CORPSE INTO HER BODY!! Even if it was the angel himself proposing it, I bet she would NOT do it.

Now Angela/Ash him/herself- Do I have to say even more? IT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE GENDER!!! Why would this thing work for that guy from the Baskervilles dog arc anyway? Does it help Angela/Ash to Achieve its goals? NO! So why!? Especially since he was abusive and all. Ok, maybe it wanted to save him from his “filthy” ways, then WHY DID IT LET HIM DIE!? Ok, in manga instead of him/her, as a Queens butlers we have double Charles, and I hope they will be better… I say “I hope” because they are quite new and mysterious characters.

Pluto:
Is naked guy acting like a dog really THAT funny? I give him credit for the “commercial” in OVA, but still in real plotline I haven’t found him enjoyable even for a moment. Just credits for giving Finny more spotlight, minus points for the drama with killing him in the end.

Grell:
Even his fans noticed it. In the manga after Jack the ripper arc he never appeared again. He was just a psycho who loved blood and it’s colour, with some female mannerism and “love” for Sebastian (which I really acknowledged more as a love like his one for Madame Red. He just loved... to paint them red, with blood. That’s all). But in anime they made him a bloody transvestite wanting to e fucked by everyone around, EVEN PLUTO AND UNDERTAKER!

Ciel:
Yes, even “my” Ciel was cursed by the anime character development. Just why the hell they made this whole “regret” thing? In manga he NEVER showed ANY signs of that he regret he made his contract with Sebastian. It’s quite opposite, after Madame Reds funeral he says he will NEVER HESTITATE (and this moment was in the anime too, he lied?). Just after someone died for him he started to think that his contract and whole revenge thing was not so good idea, it is quite ironic because in the same time in anime he just ordered Sebastian to burn innocent children alive. Well, maybe not in the same time, but still. I read some good review of Kuroshitsuji in one polish magazine about M&A “Otaku” where author compared Ciel to Faust and Hamlet stating that ““be or not to be” for Ciel just does not exists”, which is, or rather supposed to be quite true. But no, in anime he was made into weak, emo-ish, undecided child that even Sebastian leaved for a few days. He just had enough of his hesitating? Damn you Ciel, and damn you A-1 Pictures for making me say such thing about my favourite character.

Aberin
I just friggin hate this guy, he acts like a saint trying to save the world. YOUR NOT JESUS DAMMIT GET OVER IT! And I just hate the way he is trying to “moralize” Ciel again, and, oh heavens, he does! Just by saving him (which Madame Red, Ciels AUNT, closest person from his family right now also did, she protected him from Grelle with her own body, and that haven’t made such a big scar on his mind as death of an ALMOST COMPLETE STRANGER).

Sebastian:
Fortunately, only in OVA. I have no objections to him in the anime really, I only disliked him in OVA when he was made even nastier that ever and with some mania of torturing Ciel mentally (those snakes in manga where physical, they do not count). And calling him “child”. And maybe the time when he leaved Ciel for few days was not so much ok with me, but I really cannot blame him.

I know I compared only compared characters to the manga ones, but really, it was the only thing that bothered me. I really liked the visual look of it (it was inspired by Toboso-senseis drawings, so it’s obvious), the music really got me, especially opening and endings. I haven’t talked about Droccel because he is the only anime character I truly liked and I am grateful for.
Am I looking forward for the next season?
Definitely yes. I heard that fillers were created by Toboso (which explains how did they know about servants other sides and Undertaker being shinigami) and I believe she will somehow explain this whole mess. Gracefully and with a lot of Yaoi implications we all fangirls know and love.
